Landscape Inside Sales Associate

Position Details

• Promote a positive company image by maintaining ethical business practices in interactions with employees, customers, vendors, and the general public.
• Has active involvement with in-house contractors to ensure continual opportunities for new, additional business that is profitable.
• Assists in verifying correct pricing on orders and ensuring accurate system entry and documentation on deliveries.
• Perform contractor cold calls, follow-ups, and lead generation
• Take customer order calls, verify product availability, and communicate delivery timelines to customers.
•  Compile submittal information for contractor requests on projects as directed by the store manager.
• Assists store staff with in-house retail sales.
• Assist in administrative tasks associated with contractor accounts as well as all in-house sales.
• Responsible for meeting assigned weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals
• Prepares potential leads weekly and reports to the Landscape General Manager
• Continually seeks areas for sales growth and makes recommendations to the Landscape General Manager
• Create purchase orders for customers while working with staff to fulfill any additional load needs
• Recommend any vendor or stock product availability needs to the Yard Supervisor and/or Landscape General Manager
• Responsible for creating and following up on sales quotes, assisting inside sales staff, and reporting weekly quote activity to the General Manager.

Requirements

Education

• Required: A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: College studies in business with training in sales and marketing

Experience:

• Required: year minimum experience in a business environment.
• Preferred: Three years’ experience in a business environment.
