A. The average truck carries 17 yards. The bigger the truck, the harder it is to get into smaller areas. Some homeowner driveways and yards can’t handle the weight of a semi.
A. Black dirt is always changing with the weather. It weighs more if it’s wet and less if it hasn’t rained for a while. The same pertains to mulch. Black dirt and mulch is sold by the yard and not by the ton.
A. 1 yard of rock or sand = 1.4 tons
A. Our minimum load is 1 ton. Our delivery charge is separate from our product charge.
A. We have 3 products that work great on a driveway.
A. 10”- 24” is the biggest rock we carry.
A. As a rule, we can put one ton of rock or sand or 1 yard of pulverized black dirt or mulch in the back of a pickup truck.
A. It’s best to check with the manufacturer of the trailer on how much weight your trailer can carry.
A. Yes, we have a minimum 1 ton or 1 yard on our products.
A. We recommend Pulverized Black Dirt for growing grass.

A. 230 square feet at 1” deep, 115 square feet at 2” deep and 77 square feet at 3” deep.
A. We recommend 3-4” of mulch for full coverage.
A. Our Mason Sand is washed and screened (not crushed) river quartz sand and is certified for playground use and also meets the USAV Volleyball specifications. It’s also great for sand boxes and under pools.
