Plaisted’s Greenhouse Mix consists of composted pine bark, coarse fibrous peat, coarse perlite, compost, lime, and starter fertilizer. The composted pine bark creates air space and allows water to reach the root system. Coarse fibrous peat provides maximum water-holding capacity and helps retain nutrients for plants. Perlite is lightweight, creates air space, and has excellent water retention properties.
This mix is created using Plaisted’s computerized Accublender™, ensuring consistent quality load after load.
